Supernatural CAL – Week 2

It’s week 2 of our Supernatural crochet along! Find all the details about the CAL here.

Anti-Possession Tattoo

Supernatural Crochet Along - Anti Possession Tattoo

Listen, getting possessed is a real issue. The boys can’t take any chances.

This panel is large! It measures 50 x 50 tiles so it’s 4 times as large as one of my small square panels.

The Road So Far

We’re only two weeks in but we already have a pretty good chunk of our blanket done thanks to this week’s panel.

Buffalo Plaid Blanket Crochet Pattern Graph

Buffalo check is a classic design that never goes out of style. Plaid crochet patterns are all the rage these days and I am here for it. All the tartan! Designing this graph has made me a little mad about plaid and willing to make friends with fall. I even have a whole Pinterest board that’s nothing but plaid crochet patterns. Follow it here.

Buffalo Plaid Blanket Crochet Pattern

At the bottom of this post you will find the full chart and written c2c instructions for the small, baby blanket sized version of the buffalo check pattern. For your convenience you can also purchase the ad-free, printable PDF in my shop which includes two additional sizes.

  • Large – 84 x 100 pixels
  • Medium – 68 x 76 pixels
  • Small – 52 x 60 pixels

So whether you want a baby blanket or an afghan, I’ve got you covered. However, because I haven’t crocheted the graphs myself, I cannot predicted the exact size of your finished blanket. Every hooker’s blanket will vary in size depending on yarn, hook size, stitch choice, and personal tension.

Supernatural CAL – Week 1

It’s finally heeeeeerree. It’s week 1 of our Supernatural crochet along! Find all the details about the CAL here.

The crochet along is 8 weeks long but believe me, it’s jam-packed and is going to fly by. To start things off we have not one but TWO panels!

Salt’em and Burn’em

Sam and Dean should’ve bought stock in salt a long time ago because surely they use it more than the average bear. Everybody knows you’ve got to salt and burn the bodies of ghosts, restless spirits, and the like.

Supernatural Crochet Along Week 1 - Salt

The Colt and the Mark of Cain

Two legendary items in the show.

John searched all those years for the colt to kill ole Yellow Eyes. Hell, Dean even went back in time to The Wild West to snag it once.

And what can I say about the Mark of Cain? It corrupted Lucifer, made Dean a tad demony, and produced some of the worst karaoke in Supernatural history. It also released the darkness upon the entire Earth. No bigs.

The Colt and the Mark of Cain - Supernatural crochet along week 1

That’s it for this week! Check back in next week for another big piece to the puzzle.

Crab Graph Free Crochet Pattern

I have an awesome new graph for you today! A free crab graphghan blanket pattern that you can crochet before we say adieu to summer.

I’m in a bit of denial about summer coming to a close. My kids go back to school next week and I’m not sure what in the heck we’ve done for the past two months. I’m not ready for it to be over! I really wish I could put emojis in blog posts. Insert a virtual cry emoji here.

But my emotional pain is your gain because it inspired me to design this awesome crab graph.

Crab Graphghan Crochet Pattern

Crab Graphghan Free Crochet Pattern

I love it so much! So beachy! So happy crabby! The graph is what I would call medium sized and is made up a total of 73 x 62 tiles.

The free pdf file includes a full sized version of the graph and also a 4 part breakdown which you may choose to print out and tape together so that the tiles are larger and easier to see.

New to Crochet Graphs?

If you’ve never crocheted a graph before check out this post for three different stitches you can use. I prefer to work my graphghans up using the corner to corner method. You can find bunches of tutorials about c2c here.

I love designing graphghans but I don’t have time to crochet all the graphs that I make. If you finish this graph or any of my others please make sure to show me!

Zelda Crochet Patterns – Etsy’s Best

Hey listen! If you’re a Zelda nerd you’ve come to the right place. I’ve put together a short list of the best Zelda crochet patterns on Etsy.

Zelda Crochet Patterns

I have some seriouuus Zelda geeks at my house. We’ve done Zelda birthdays and Zelda Halloween; We have the giant almanacs and the huge foam swords and sheilds – the whole nine. So, of course, I’ve tried my hand at a little Zelda crochet. One year for Christmas I made my youngest the cutest little Link amigurumi. It was one of my first ever plushies and I used terrible yarn but it’s still one of his most treasured possessions.

Anyhoo, I’ve scoured the interwebs to bring you the top Zelda patterns on Etsy. We’ve got a little of everything here from costumes to blankets. If you find something you like in the list, make sure to pin it for later!
