Hi, I’m Jessica – the designer and owner of this crochetzy corner of the webs.
My main passions in life include crocheting, watching TV, and wearing sweat pants. This site is basically the compilation of those dreams.
I love pushing crochet and fiber arts toward the geeky end of the spectrum and creating patterns and products for the modern maker. This ain’t your grandma’s crochet. Unless your grandma isn’t like a regular grandma, she’s a cool grandma.
In 2015 I kept my first ever New Year’s Resolution – to learn to crochet! On January 1st I hopped in the car with a friend and took a road trip to the nearest craft store (which was an hour away), bought some hooks, yarn, and a book. I never imagined that my simple desire to make practical, handmade gifts would blossom into my own business.
